Superfine San Francisco is a one-of-a-kind art fair designed to celebrate emerging artists’ creativity and talent. Founded in 2015 by art marketing experts Alex Mitow and James Miille, Superfine has revolutionized the traditional art fair model by focusing on creating an artist-centric experience. Superfine San Francisco offers a platform for artists to showcase their work and connect with art lovers and collectors in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. With its unique approach to commission-free sales, Superfine is the largest and most widespread art fair for artists in the United States. From March 23-26, 2023, the fair will be held at Fort Mason Center, offering a panoramic view of the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge and showcasing over 60 local and global artists.
How Superfine Art Fairs are Different
One of the unique features of Superfine is that it takes no commission on art sales, which means that artists keep 100% of their earnings. This approach creates a supportive and artist-driven atmosphere that fosters creativity and celebrates the talent of emerging artists.
Schedule & Costs
Superfine San Francisco is a four-day art fair that offers a range of ticket options to suit different needs and budgets. General Access tickets cost $18 and provide access to the fair on any one day (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) during GA hours. Private Access tickets cost $50 and include access to the private opening night preview on Thursday, March 23rd, as well as re-admission to the fair during any GA hours. Private Access ticket holders also get the first choice of available art, a complimentary custom Superfine tote bag, and the chance to meet the founders and curators of Superfine. The fair is open from Thursday, March 23rd (6-10 pm VIP preview) through Sunday, March 26th (12-8 pm).
Interactive Art Walk
Superfine San Francisco will also have an interactive Art Walk powered by Artmatcher Art Tags. This unique experiences will provide attendees with an innovative way to experience the art on display. The Art Walk will showcase a variety of artworks from exhibitors, and Artmatcher Art Tags will be displayed next to each piece, allowing attendees to access information about the artwork and connect with the Artmatcher community.
