Artmatcher’s Approach to Combating Online Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Artmatcher is fully committed to fostering a safe and inclusive art community. This policy outlines our approach to preventing, addressing and removing illegal Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) on our platform, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Prohibited Content

The use of our platform to create, share, upload, or distribute any material that constitutes CSAM is strictly prohibited. Such material includes, but is not limited to the following:

  • Child sexual abuse or exploitation content, whether visual images or text.
  • Imagery that sexualizes minors, including drawings, animations, or digitally manipulated content.
  • Advertising, soliciting or posting CSAM.
  • Providing resources or instructions intended to facilitate child sexual abuse.
  • Content that promotes grooming, sextortion, or child trafficking.

Preventing, Detecting and Removing CSAM

Artmatcher employs human oversight to prevent, detect and remove CSAM, including the following:

  • Crowdsourced Flagging: All community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content.
  • Human Review: All flagged content undergoes thorough human review to ensure legal compliance.
  • Removal: We delete CSAM from our platform and suspend or permanently restrict the offender from access.

Reporting and Enforcing

If CSAM is detected, Artmatcher will take immediate action, including:

  1. Removing the identified content.
  2. Reporting the content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant local authorities.
  3. Reviewing the flagged account for additional violations and implementing enforcement actions, such as issuing warnings, suspensions, or permanent denial of access.

Appeals and Redress

A User whose account is disabled for CSAM violations may submit an appeal for review. We will issue a decision that complies with legal requirements and ensures platform safety. In the event that the user successfully appeals, the account will be restored.

Data Retention and Privacy

We retain CSAM data as legally required or as necessary to improve detection technologies. Such data will be de-identified and securely stored to protect User privacy.

Collaboration and Transparency

Artmatcher will collaborate with industry partners and law enforcement to combat CSAM as needed.
