Hors d’commerce, meaning ”not for commerce” are prints usually kept by the artist for business use, such as for a gallery or dealer, exhibitions, charity evet, or as a point of reference for the artist to recall the styling, paper ink, etc. Although signed by the artist, they are not numbered and are marked HC or H/C.
