The U.S. National Museum is the world’s largest museum. It is located in Washington, D.C., and is a part of the Smithsonian Institution. The museum has more than 137 million items in its collections, including artifacts from all over the world.
It was founded in 1846 and has since grown to become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. The museum is also home to a number of famous exhibitions, such as the Hope Diamond and the Wright Brothers’ airplane.
The U.S. National Museum is open every day of the year, except for Christmas Day. Admission is free.
